Celeste Kling and Nancy Wallace have been assisting individuals with legal issues since the early 1980’s. We have been practicing together since 1992. Our practice areas include mediation, estate planning, elder law, probate, Medicaid, special needs and disability trusts, and related Social Security issues. In addition to our extensive experience in these areas, we offer a cooperative, team approach to legal problem-solving with our clients. The attorneys and staff at Wallace & Kling, P.C. are committed to helping clients find solutions which best fit their individual circumstances. Both Nancy (in 1995) and Celeste (in 2010) have received the Larimer County Bar Association's Professionalism Award for "adherence to the highest standards of legal professionalism and outstanding service to the community." Creative, effective solutions to legal issues No matter what the issue, at Wallace & Kling, P.C., client education is the first step. In order to make good decisions, people with legal challenges generally need basic information about what the law is and how the legal process works. We help our clients to achieve reasonable expectations and an understanding of the rules, which frequently reduces the stress of resolving a legal matter and allows clients to focus their energies on achieving positive results. The attorneys at Wallace & Kling look for creative, effective solutions to legal issues, both in and out of the courtroom. We have found that the best results are often achieved by informed, proactive efforts by a client or by cooperative problem-solving outside of court. Simple, cost-effective solutions are frequently most satisfactory, and we are pleased to assist our clients in finding them, when appropriate. We no longer litigate; however, when necessary, we assist clients in transitioning to litigation counsel. At Wallace & Kling, we appreciate our clients and are honored by the trust they place in us. We enjoy working with men, women, and children of all ages and diversities to provide education, problem-solving, and advocacy to meet their legal needs. We are a LGBTQIA friendly firm. In addition, Nancy speaks Spanish and Celeste speaks French. This website discusses many, but not all, areas of focus in our practice; links are available on the menu at the left. The colorful designs on our site are photographs of molas handmade by the Cuna Indians from the San Blas Islands of Panama; many of these molas hang in our office.
