As part of a practice involving health care issues, Nancy Wallace
has a particular interest in Social Security disability cases. When a
person is disabled before reaching age 65 and cannot work, he or she may
apply for Social Security disability payments based on his or her own
earnings record, or for Supplemental Security Income (SSI). If the
application is denied, our office may be able to help with the appeal.
We discuss with clients the process for appeal of a denial of an
application and will represent clients at the hearing set by the
Administrative Law Judge.
Occasionally clients have other issues involving Social Security, such as overpayments, entitlement to benefits and financial eligibility for SSI. We will review these cases as well.
