Wallace and Kling provides legal assistance to individuals 60 years of age and older through a contract with the Larimer County Department of Human Services Office on Aging. The contract requires that priority be given to legal assistance related to income, health care, long-term care, housing, utilities, protective services, defense of guardianship, abuse, neglect and age discrimination. The following legal services are NOT covered under the contract: guardianships, bankruptcy, financial counseling, advanced estate planning, trusts (except Medicaid Income trusts), divorce, lawsuits or any fee generating cases. We provide all services free of charge without regard to income or resources, however, a donation to the program is requested. Because funds are limited, the services we provide are primarily advice only and brief service. Clients must reside in Larimer County.
